Cliff Thompson

Crowthorne Parish Ward
Chairman of the Parish Council

I have lived in Crowthorne for over 30 years with my wife Susan. I am a retired solicitor with a  range of experience latterly as a corporate legal adviser. I was a Borough Councillor from  1997 for Crowthorne until 2003 then,  as a consequence of boundary changes, Warfield until May 2019 when I stood down . I was Mayor  in  2006-7. As a Borough Councillor I was Older Peoples Champion for many years and served on  Licensing, Planning  and Governance and Audit and other committees. I was a Crowthorne Councillor from  1997 to 2003 including a term a chairman and am  a governor of Wildmoor Heath and Edgbarrow schools. Throughout I have maintained an interest  in Crowthorne. When not active as a councillor I  enjoy travel and getting out and about with broad general interests
