Cllr Tony Virgo as he became the new Mayor of Bracknell Forest at the Annual Meeting of Bracknell Forest Council on Wednesday, 18 May 2016.

Cllr Virgo, who has represented Ascot Ward since May 2007, was elected during the mayor-making part of the meeting.  He will now take over as first citizen of Bracknell Forest from Cllr Mrs Dee Hamilton, who has been Mayor of Bracknell since May 2015.

A new Mayor and Deputy Mayor
for Bracknell Forest
May 2016

During the mayor-making ceremony, Cllr Tony Virgo introduced the new Deputy Mayor, our very own Cllr Mrs Tina McKenzie-Boyle.

Cllr Mrs McKenzie-Boyle has lived in Crowthorne for 27 years and been elected as Parish Councillor for Crowthorne Parish since 2003.  Cllr McKenzie-Boyle is also the elected Borough representative for Priestwood and Garth Ward.

Congratulations to both councillors on your new roles.
